Deep cherry red cherry with intense purple tones.

AROMA:

Open and intense of ripe black fruit, blackberry jam, with spicy notes (ground black pepper, licorice). Perfectly integrated wood Persistent fruit

Very round mouth accompanied by a pleasant freshness. Structure and body that give character and define your personality. The end is marked by memories of black fruit.

This was not quite there. It's not a bad wine, easy and non-acidic, but not interesting either. Is missing some "character".

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
