TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose is a constant catalog of fruit notes, with red and black parts standing out equally. In the minutes, the floral aromas take on more prominence.

TASTE:

Vibrating on the palate with a more than palpable acidity. Highlights are tannins stuffed with freshness and with a long and persistent finish.

MATCHING
Appetizer, pasta dishes with sauce, grilled red meats and a good range of sausages.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The King of Glam is a red wine from V.T. Castilla y León made by Alfredo Maestro winery. This wine is a single Grenache variety.

The grapes used come in equal parts from two estates owned by the winery: Navarredondilla, located in the province of Ávila, at an altitude of about 1,100 meters, and Peñafiel, closest to Valladolid, located between 700 and 920 meters. The soils are diverse, as they are made of granitic rock, sandy loam, clayey and calcareous.

The grapes used to make the King of Glam are harvested by hand and these, when they enter the winery's facilities, are incubated whole without being trampled or damaged. The vinification, carried out according to carbonic maceration, is carried out in stainless steel tanks with local yeasts from the vineyards of the winery. Subsequently, a decanting phase is carried out and malolactic fermentation is started in the same containers. The clarification and stabilization of the wine occurs naturally and before bottling The King of Glam is shaken to remove possible impurities or solid waste.

Alfredo Maestro is a viticulturist who challenges and strongly opposes how wine is currently made. He understands that wine must be true to its origin and therefore removes all the exogenous elements of it (sulfurous, acid, filters, stabilizers ...). According to him, he only needs three elements to create his products: grapes, well-kept vineyards and healthy land.
