Clean, clear and bright. Intense garnet color with violet reflections. Medium / high layer intensity. Very nice to see.
Entry on the nose quite expressive but not excessively. It presents a good complexity of aromas of blackberry and cherry, which are balanced by the floral and spicy touches such as the notes of lavender, black pepper, walnuts and fine touches of vanilla that help sweeten the moment.
Very full entry into the mouth and with a good tannic load that appears firmly. A refreshing and lively acidity provides even more good balance. Long finish with good persistence and intensity.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
