TASTING NOTE
Colour

Straw yellow pale.

AROMA:

Penetrating, fresh. Notes to yeast flower, hints of toasted bread.

TASTE:

Balanced, powerful, dry. We found notes of green almond. Bitter end.

MATCHING
Great for snacks, tapas, fish starters, salads of cheese. We suggest pairing with anchovies and toasted bread with tomato.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Their 284 years of history, Bodegas Alvear has retained its family character, conveying ownership of parents to children so that, today, the ownership of the company is in the hands of the eighth generation. It is one of the companies of more prestige and international recognition of Andalusia. The winery has extensive vineyards located in the most famous places of the Sierra de Montilla and Moriles (Córdoba). A historic wine cellar that has managed to implement a land and a family experience.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
