TASTING NOTE
Colour

Naturally sweet wine made from varieties of Black and Red Grenache, brick red in colour and with light caramel tones.

AROMA:

Aromas of red fruits and lactics products and honey touches.

TASTE:

Voluminous mouth feel, with concentration of ripe flavours and a slight tannic taste.

To accompany ... After lunch, when we take an irresistible desire to take something sweet and conversations are at its peak, it is time to open a bottle of Garnatxa de l'Empordà. With blue cheese or hard pasta, with chocolate cake, with blueberries, marzipan or nuts.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Maceration to film in cold for 48 hours. The bleeding is allowed to ferment with natural yeasts until 90 grams of sugar remain. Next, alcohol is added up to 15% vol, to begin oxidative aging for two years in old oak barrels. This wine is used to fill the barrels of the Airam mill.

Wines fortifieds designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
