Colour

Pale yellow, clear, transparent, bright.

AROMA:

Fruity character, notes of citrus like grapefruit, lemon, even green apple, enveloping, good aromatic intensity, white, young and fresh.

TASTE:

The palate is fresh, citric, with a dry, lively finish, notes of fresh vegetables, fruits above all (yellow plum, loquat, pineapple). Very nice on the whole.

Light cuisine, vegan dishes, local cuisine, fish and seafood from the Mediterranean coast with its excellent rice and pasta dishes.

Service temperature from 6 to 8º C.

Dedicated to the cultivation of the vine since the 17th century, Cavas Hill was founded in 1887, keeping intact until today the will to keep the artisan production and traditions of the region, the Penedés, alive.
The love for the land, the spirit of improvement and tradition have been and continue to be the pillars of the winery.

Elaboration:
The grapes are harvested manually, and then gently crushed and directly pressed with the whole bunches. They go through a 12-hour maceration in the skins and a fermentation in cold stainless steel tanks.
Aging: Matures on the lees in stainless steel tanks for a period of between 1 and 3 months.
The Co upage: Macabeu and Xarel.lo.
