TASTING NOTE
Colour

Brightly golden colour.

AROMA:

A wine with complex mineral nuances, fresh herbs, peach and anise.

TASTE:

Full and very powerful in the mouth, with good acidity and long aftertaste of honey and citrus fruits. Considerable potential to evolve in bottle.

MATCHING
Ideal for local gastronomy, with fish, seafood, iron, steam, baked. With its characteristics, this acidul wine could combine with contrasting dishes, duck breast with orange and honey sauce or the typical sweet sausage with apple.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The Centennial Winery, (Masia Carreras) located in Sant Climent Sescebes. It has its origins in the fourteenth century and since then it belongs to the family. The first purchase document for a vineyard is dated 1305 but they already had vineyards before. Today they still have a lot of family documentation. It is a small winery, where things are done well and without haste.
It has some of the best historical vineyards in Empordà, such as the Roca Trocada vineyard, presided over by an imposing rock that watches over its black and white carignan over 100 years old.

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
