WHO CAN CONTRACT
The history of Bodegas Pinord dates back more than one hundred and fifty years, when in their Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues property, the Tetas family began to make white and red wines.
It is in 1942, when Josep Maria Tetas created the current winery, installing it in Vilafranca del Penedés, just four kilometers from the original estate.
From this farm, precisely, the name is chosen for the company's brand, "Pi del Nord" (Northern Pine). that today is converted to organic cultivation and continues to supply an excellent quality grape.
Josep Mª Tetas, curious and enterprising, began to investigate the way of elaboration in order to fix that carbon dioxide in the wine. Thus, the first Needle Wine in Spain, the Reynal, is born.
A series of still wines, muscats and other specialties are also beginning to be produced, which end up forming a very complete catalog, giving the winery a recognized reputation.
