TASTING NOTE
Colour

Ermita d’Espiells has a beautiful, brilliant pale yellow colour.

AROMA:

Its aroma is intense and very pleasant. It contains notes of white fruit, apples and pears, as well as a background of aromatic herbs that is also slightly floral.

TASTE:

Its texture in the mouth has a balanced combination of unctuousness and creaminess, which makes it very fresh on the palate and leaves traces of the aromas found in the nose.

MATCHING
It is a perfect wine to drink with fish or seafood, prepared with different cooking styles: raw, steamed, grilled or stewed. Also with Mediterranean rice.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
juvé & Camps; Penedès emblematic winery and one of the most renowned for its high-end cava production. They have about 270 hectares of vineyards cultivated in an ecological way.
Currently in 2017 Juve & Camps was acquired by the company Grifols (Multinational pharmaceutical)

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Penedès
Between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona is located the Penedès region, with the largest wine-growing surface and the largest production in Catalonia. Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Pre-litoral Mountains and from the Llobregat River to the Gaià River. The most important cities of this appellation of origin are the Vilafranca del Penedès (capital city) and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The more planted variety is Xarel·lo, with a surface of more than 7000 hectares.
