TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow, bright, transparent.

AROMA:

Very aromatic with a fruity, perfumed character, a union of white flowers, fine herbaceous vegetables and fresh fruits (yellow apple, lychee, fragrant, subtle and complex).

TASTE:

Fine, elegant with a very interesting fruit load, great balance, fresh fruit-acidity, long and persistent on the palate, dry finish.

MATCHING
Very interesting combined with the typical dish "Xató or Xatonda", difficult dish but with the contrast of flavors, the dish and the wine is an original pairing. In general Mediterranean dishes, fish, seafood and its excellent rice dishes (paellas de Levante, palellas Valencianas).
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Vines planted in the 80s. Unique place for its terroir just 3 km away. from the Mediterranean Sea, to Pla de Mar "Baix Penedés" El Vendrell (Tarragona).
Vineyards with a long history since among them are the vestiges of what was once Via Augusta. The Via Romana that connected Rome with the important cities of the Mediterranean.

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Penedès
Between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona is located the Penedès region, with the largest wine-growing surface and the largest production in Catalonia. Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Pre-litoral Mountains and from the Llobregat River to the Gaià River. The most important cities of this appellation of origin are the Vilafranca del Penedès (capital city) and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The more planted variety is Xarel·lo, with a surface of more than 7000 hectares.
