TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Pale yellow with slightly greenish reflections. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

Very complex aromatic range. White fruit aromas such as apple and pear come out at the first contact with the glass, followed by the floral and spicy touches that help to refresh with its hint of freshness, and finally the notes of bakery and honey appear. for aging in oak barrels.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth is creamy and very textured. Its passage through the palate is enhanced by a unique creaminess, at the same time being fresh and of a spectacular balance.

MATCHING
The smooth acidity and marked fruit of a well-balanced Pinot Gris perfectly complement the roast pork with a sauce of stewed pear or creamy pasta, poultry and seafood.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Pinot Gris found in New Zealand a place to develop in all its fullness and deliver all the best of itself. Ata Rangi knew how to see it and makes one of its star whites with this variety; a wine that rests several months in oak barrels. The founder of Ata Rangi is an ecologist who is committed to conserving the native flora of New Zealand. This is how he came up with the Crimson Project, which seeks to preserve two native trees that give red flowers: the "mountain-loving rat" and the "pohutukawa", also known as "Christmas tree" by the locals. With its label it pays homage to New Zealand trees and forests.
