WHO CAN CONTRACT
Aradon was a villa that existed from Roman times and that mysteriously disappeared.
It was located on a plane at 550 m. altitude called "La Mesa" currently occupied by vineyards up to 90 years old, owned by the winery.
The town of Aradon was located near several Roman roads and a Roman aqueduct from the 1st century AD, called "Puente Moros".
Today and since 1957, in the town of Alcanadre, 36 km east of Logroño, the winegrowers of Alcanadre want to pay homage to Aradon, giving their wines names made from grapes from very old vineyards, some of them centuries old.
The vineyards are located at heights of 400 to 600 meters of altitude on slopes facing east, on calcareous clay soils.
Elaboration:
Made with grapes of the Viura variety, harvested at their optimum ripeness. These grapes are collected and pressed with great care, giving rise to the yolk must which, after racking, carries out the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Very, very nice Rose wine.
On my holiday in Nerja I taste this wine and back in Holland I was glad to order the wine via grau online with very quick delivery from Spain.
