Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, and where, has a medium-low layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose is a constant balance of aromas where everyone manages to express themselves in equal parts. Aromas of fruit (cherries, blackberries, raspberries), cedar, and hints of herbs.

TASTE:

Entry with tannins not very complex but with enough acidity to be alive and with character. Ideal for wine lovers with minimal intervention with little extraction.

Ideal with fresh and cold dishes. Cebiche of corball, beef carpaccios, fruit salads etc.

The roots of Cal Batlle go back to the 15th century. From then until today, generation after generation, they have worked the land without interruption. The farm extends over an area of ​​120 hectares, distributed in the municipalities of Mediona, Sant Quintí de Mediona, Vilobí del Penedès, Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, and mainly Pacs del Penedès, where almost all of the agricultural exploitation focused on the cultivation of the vine, with 20 hectares.

Vinyes Singulars 1000 Races is an impossible mix of 7 varieties of sumoll, garnacha, tempranillo, monastrell, syrah, merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes from the Cal Ruget vineyard, in Pacs del Penedés, harvested and vinified at the same time. Vineyards with ecological treatment and biodynamic practices.

It is a spontaneously fermented red wine, with native yeasts, without filtering or clarifying, without added sulphites or any chemical or industrial additives. They are natural wines with minimal intervention.
