Colour

Clean, limpid and bright. Cherry color with purple reflections and medium intensity intensity.

On the nose, its aromatic power stands out, where the protagonism has a range of red fruit aromas. And where they are assembled with a perfect balance with spaced aromas.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth where its breadth stands out. It is a wine that expresses itself with all the frankness of its own youth. Tannins with a lot of vivacity that make it a wine with a memorable structure and persistence.

Ideal to pair with all kinds of meat, stews or marinated, cheeses and products from our seasonal lands.

Celler Gerisena has made a selection of more than 30 hectares of old mountain vineyards located at the foot of the Natural Area of ​​Albera with an average age of 80 years. Vinyas erected on a slate and poor land, of low production, about 3,000 kg / ha, bringing an extreme quality to our wines.

Dry Mediterranean climate, where the distinctive feature is the tramontana, which like a sculptor molds us and collects the landscape with its fury, providing a unique character to our wines. Respect for the land is our standard and that is why we work as our grandparents did, in a respectful way towards the ecological vineyard.
Among our varieties, the natives of our denomination of origin Empordà predominate, red varieties: garnacha tinta and mazuelo and white varieties: white and red garnacha, macabeo and muscatel.

Currently the winery adapts the facilities of Agricola de Garriguella with the aim of enjoying the latest technologies to create a micro-vinification zone with stainless tanks of capacity from 500 to 10,000 liters, with temperature control systems and inerting systems with antioxidant gases, as well as a new barrel park of 225 and 500 liters of French oak to be able to vinify and age the wines under its brand.
