Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, where it has an intensity of medium - high layer. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose is presented with the complexity and intensity that characterizes the wines of La Rioja, where it offers a catalog of ripe fruit, spices and small contributions of a charming vanilla with toast.

TASTE:

Very tasty and full on the palate, where you can taste some seductively fresh tannins. With structure and very good persistence. Long, friendly and wide finish.

Ideal with stewed white meats, game meats, sheep and goat cheeses, grilled lamb chops and baked pork.

The Orben wine is an aged red wine made by the Orben winery in D.O.Ca Rioja and belonging to the Artevino group. The Tempranillo grapes come from 74 micro-plots of old vineyards located in the towns of Valbuena and Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa) that were planted between 1945 and 1954.

The vineyard is mostly settled on gently sloping slopes, with slopes of less than 20% and depths of about 40 cm. Continental climate with Mediterranean influences. The harvest is done manually for subsequent selection by bunch on the table. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic in new barrels. Finally aged for 12 months in new French and American barrels.

The Orben wine reflects the modernity and roots of the land in micro parcels of the Rioja Alavesa.
