Colour

Cherry red, the middle layer. Shiny.

AROMA:

Intense balanced. Include fine notes of red fruits.

TASTE:

Structured and elegant. Good mouth feel with hints of fruit. Long finish.

MATCHING
Suitable for rice and pasta. Ideal for grilled meat or baked. We suggest pairing with pork cheeks and lamb chops with beans.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
According to certify the stone threshold of the entrance to the oldest champagne house Oliveda as wines were produced from 1764 to the property for family consumption. In 1948, Joseph and Oliveda Casanova and his wife Joan Rigau Ros, founded the company engaged in the production and marketing of wines. Currently Oliveda has a wine production that is split between two denominations of origin "Empordà" and "Catalonia" and a production of champagne belonging to DO "Cava".

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
