Colour dark cherry, teardrop slowly and very bright.
The nose is very fruity (black fruit from the forest), with notes of mint, vanilla, toast and roasted aromas, milk, mineral and forest fruits. Complex, balanced and strong presence of wood.
A wine with great harmony as a whole, well balanced, tasty, with a fierce attack but very pleasant in the mouth, it brings us back to retronasal aromas of the nose, and we can notice fine tannin in aftertaste.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
