Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Garnet color with ruby reflections, where it has a low layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

First contact in the cup where its fruit load surrounds you. Aromas of ripe fruit that harmonize with seductive floral and balsamic touches. On the minutes and with the corresponding small aeration, the notes of toast with small nuances of cocoa appear cautiously.

TASTE:

On the palate with a very marked delicacy and elegance, on the palate where the fruit with the spices are the protagonists that are fused with fine and fresh tannins, and with a aftertaste of a very marked mineral character. End of an exquisite persistence.

Perfect companion with dishes of medium gustatory power, grilled meats, sausages, goat or Catalan cheese salads, medium-cured and roasted cheeses.

Located in the town of Batea, the Piñol family winery today produces wines from vines that have been cultivated for four generations.

Love of the land has passed down generations. At a time when the project was about to end after the loss of grandmother Teresina, Josefina Arrufí stepped forward and set out to recover indigenous varieties from the area.

The first bottled wine was called L'avi Arrufí, translated as El abuelo Arrufí, in honor of Josefina's father, a white wine made mainly from Garnacha blanca, the queen grape of this Catalan designation of origin.

Since then, a succession of wines of excellent quality have been conquering palates. That was the starting point of a careful work that includes the recovery of the indigenous Morenillo variety, with which two of its wines are made today.
