TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean and bright. Intense ruby color, with high layer intensity. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

In the nose, we find a high aromatic intensity that unfolds in a rhythmic and elegant way. Ripe black fruit and a broad range of Mediterranean undergrowth, spices and hints of licorice.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth, with a velvety, silky and mineral mid palate. It is elegant, subtle and fragrant. A voluptuous, delicate and deep Mediterranean red wine with a long aftertaste.

MATCHING
We will be surprised accompanying it with dishes of grilled meats, barbecue, as well as more mature cheeses, such as a Idiazábal, Roncal, etc . We are also could accompany with stewed dishes, like a rabbit with ratatouille.
We recommend serving it at around 15oC to 17oC.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Own vineyards in the D.O. Empordà 60-80 years old, from the Albera area. Poor slate soils. Harvested by hand in 15 kg boxes and pre-selected in the same vineyard. Preparation of each of the plots separately.

Fermentation of the grapes in small stainless steel tanks, at a temperature of 28º, with a maceration of 22 deis. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for one year in new one and two year old French oak barrels and in 2000 liter round vats. After the oxidative aging of the barrel, the reductive aging in the bottle begins to mature to this day.

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
