Colour

Attractive ripe cherry colour with garnet and violet coloured glints. Clean aspect.

AROMA:

Bouquet distinguished by sharp fruity aromas wrapped around by impeccable oak aromas that provide hints of spices. There is a background of scrubland and rockrose as well as toasted whiffs that give this wine elegance.

TASTE:

Smooth upon entry to the mouth. Very fruity, lush, strong and balanced tastes as it slips through the mouth. This is a tasty red wine that leads into a long-lasting retronasal effect.

It is accompanied well by grilled red meat, stewed red meat, farmyard poultry roasts and magnificent semi-cured cheeses such as Manchego, Idiazábal, Roncal or Castellano.

More than a working philosophy, the four wineries that form the wine heritage of Alejandro Fernández – the Pesquera Corporation: Pesquera, Condado de Haza, El Vinculo and Dehesa La Granja – share the same story of love for the viniculture that time helped to perfect. The bonds with its home land are clearly expressed in the symbol of the group: the image of the Arch and the Tower of Pesquera de Duero, typical of its flagships, the “Tinto Pesquera’.
