Colour

Cherry with a garnet rim.

AROMA:

Clean, toasty aromas at first with notes of black fruit jam and fine leather.

TASTE:

Tasty, structured step along mouth, good fruit set with barrel notes (cinnamon, coffee, cocoa).

MATCHING
Excellent with grilled red meats and light sauced ones, salt steak with baked potato or suckling pig in Segovia’s style.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Pago del Cielo is a wine project of the Torres Family located in two privileged territories for the cultivation of vines, Ribera de Duero and Rueda, which unites tradition, commitment to quality and passion for viticulture.
In Ribera del Duero, the winery is located in Fompedraza, 895 meters above sea level, at the highest elevations of the DO, a privileged place, with spectacular landscapes and an ideal climate for the production of red wines of great aromatic intensity.

Ribera del Duero is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Spain, is located in Castilla y León and embraces a part of the Duero basin. Limited in the east by the town of San Esteban de Gormaz and in the west by Quintanilla de Onessimo, Ribera del Duero has a surface of 21000 hectares and an annual production of barely 56 million of liters.
