TASTING NOTE
Colour

Golden yellow, clean.

AROMA:

Fresh, intense. Notes to lemon, grapefruit mixed with petals of rose on a background of nuts.

TASTE:

Dense and unctuous, with balanced acidity. Sweet but not cloying, with silky palate. We met again the citrus and dry flower. Long finish with a nutty aftertaste.

MATCHING
Exquisite with cheeses, indicated with foie, excellent with dessert of cakes and dried fruits.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
In the incomparable setting of the Cap de Creus, is the Mas Perafita, built in the 14th century and restored in 2004 by the family Martin Faixó, as part of the recovery of the vineyard in Alt Empordà and own wine-growing family tradition. Made up of 10 hectares of vineyard planted in rough terrain, land of granite and slate, rock with grape Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, garnacha tinta, Muscat of Alexandria and, recently, the white picapoll. Its philosophy is to develop handcrafted wine collecting the wisdom of centuries of family tradition.

Wines fortifieds designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
