Yellow with subtle hints of lemon

AROMA:

Notes of white flowers and roses combine with delicate notes of citrus fruits, honey and spices

TASTE:

Round and velvety, unctuous and sweet. Well structured and with a good balance between acidity and sweetness, which helps a long persistence that recovers the first aromas found in the nose.

Suitable for the more traditional side, as dessert wine (cookies, pastries, dried fruit). Although currently is also appreciated in different formulations of avant-garde gastronomy (foies, blue-veined cheeses. . . ).

For more than 40 years that at Empordàlia they produce wines and quality oils which come from crops typical of the area of the Alt and Baix Empurdà. Currently 350 hectares of vineyards and more than 500 hectares of olive trees cultivated and are dedicated to the production and marketing of wine and extra virgin olive oil. Although, the cooperative was founded in 1961, it began marketing product finished from the year 1988. The wine brands they sell protected under the denomination of origin Empordà. She is currently a cooperative with 250 members of the Alt and Baix Empordà, Empordàlia was founded in 2005 by the merger of the cooperative of Pau and Roses and Vilajuïga (in 1986 already merged the Pau agricultural cooperative which was founded in 1961 and the 'El Celler de Roses' cooperative created in 1954).
