The latest expression from the Aberlour distillery: Aberlour Casg Annamh. A whiskey that introduces followers of the brand to the range of whiskeys aged in Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks.
Casg Annamh, meaning "Rare Casks" in Scottish Gaelic, is an unaged single malt made in small batches of whisky aged in Oloroso Sherry casks.
The casks complement Aberlour’s distillate perfectly, known for its cult whiskey A’Bunadh, a cask strength aged 100% in Sherry casks.
Casg Annamh is a tribute to the distillery's craftsmen's passion for Sherry and their expertise. The result is a distinctly rich and fruity whiskey that brings something new and exciting to the single malt category.
