TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow, with greenish reflections. It may have some slight turbidity.

AROMA:

Remarkable intensity, fresh green and white fruit, some vegetal sensation, herbaceous, mountain flowers, complex and fragrant.

TASTE:

A tactile, glyceric, unctuous sensation, fruit flavors, with a citric, vegetable finish (apple, loquat, grape skin). Wine with flavor, personality, sweet tooth, well structured, original and very "natural".

MATCHING
With vegan gastronomy. Cuisine with Mediterranean influence, fresh pasta, rice, vegetables, coastal seafood, light dishes, varied salads and also fantastic with fish "ceviches".
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The history of Can Ràfols dels Caus began in 1979. Carlos Esteva decided to move to his grandfather's estate located in Garraf (Barcelona). Esteva's arrival in Garraf was a revolution, planting new varieties and cultivation methods. Mr. Esteva decided to take a big step with the construction of a new winery that would allow him to better work on the microvinifications that he was carrying out with different grapes and plots on the farm. This new winery is fully embedded in the environment of the Garraf Massif, integrated into the landscape and designed at different levels in order to facilitate gravity vinification. Elaboration: Xarel.lo Brisat, was born from the collaboration with the Verema Solidaria project which aims to support social projects that fight poverty and social exclusion. Only xarel.lo from La Vinya del Pou Sec with the collaboration of a hundred people stepped on the grapes in an old stone winery the brisette wines, which are traditionally made by macerating the must with their skins and the scrape. The wine fermented with its own yeasts in barrels of different origins and in small clay containers. An organic and very personal wine from which only 800 bottles have been produced.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
