TASTING NOTE
Colour

Yellow straw, clean.

AROMA:

Elegant, complex, nice. Fusion of fruity and spicy notes florl with floral reminiscence.

TASTE:

Structured, with good acidity, round. Nice palate, fresh and fruity. Long and spicy end.

MATCHING
Its dry personality makes it ideal as an aperitif and it pairs extremely well with specialty cuisine with pronounced flavors.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
For almost four centuries, the Trimbach Family has been promoting Alsace and its History, its exceptional terroirs and fine wines. Maison Trimbach is still located in Ribeauvillé and still owned by the two grandsons of Frédéric Théodore, Bernard and Hubert, since their father’s untimely death in 1945. Pierre and Jean, Bernard’s sons, the 12th generation, have joined the Firm in 1979 for Pierre and 1985 for Jean to work on the vinification for the first one and on the promotion of the wines for the second one.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
