TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow. This wine may have some natural sediment as a result of the winery wanting minimal intervention in the filtration and stabilization processes.

AROMA:

Fruity, interesting, complex and with a marked character. Primary aromas of green fruits (apple, fresh grape skin), some vegetable nuance.

TASTE:

Light, but at the same time with personality, balance between acidity and fruit, an original, unctuous and natural wine. The sensation of apple, must, we can also find them. A wine to discover new taste experiences. It came with a unique uniqueness in a good way "ovella negra" (black sheep)

MATCHING
With vegan, natural foods, with all its variants and elaborations. Salads, greens, vegetables, grilled, grilled or steamed fish. Ideal with semi-cured, creamy soft cheese.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Mr. Ramón Jané Garriga, winegrower, is responsible for the Mas Candí winery, which is located in Les Gunyoles d 'Avinyonet (Alt Penedès). Built in 2006, in this small winery they seek complicity with the landscape, working with the indigenous varieties and recovering old, almost disappeared, Catalan wines. In the vineyard, an attempt is made to reproduce the balance that exists in a forest, without any type of chemical fertilizers or fungicides, pesticides ... nourishing the plant with its own leaves transformed by soil microorganisms. They work the vine as natural as possible.

Elaboration:
Manual harvest, maceration for 6 to 7 days, performs alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. It is a wine with no added sulfites, very little filtering, clay-calcareous soil.
The grape varieties are Garnatxa Blanca, Malvasia de Sitges, Parellada.

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Penedès
Between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona is located the Penedès region, with the largest wine-growing surface and the largest production in Catalonia. Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Pre-litoral Mountains and from the Llobregat River to the Gaià River. The most important cities of this appellation of origin are the Vilafranca del Penedès (capital city) and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The more planted variety is Xarel·lo, with a surface of more than 7000 hectares.
