TASTING NOTE
Colour

Intense golden yellow, brilliant, reflections of old gold.

AROMA:

Complex, a study wine, original, different, unique, the nose of this wine transports you to the south as its name indicates "looking south", memories of fine, sherry, notes of dried fruit ( almonds, chamomile flower, cereals , green olive ) are aromas that appear to us of remarkable power and olfactory persistence.

TASTE:

Unctuous mid palate, very interesting, long and persistent mid palate. Nice memories of salt, candied fruit, fine freshly baked pastries. It came with personality and flavor.

MATCHING
Ideal with tastefully flavored dishes. It can harmonize perfectly with white meats, excellent with a sublime steak tartare with Iberian ham and a selection of cheeses.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Olivier Rivière has managed to transmit his knowledge of French "vigneron" to his particular vineyards in La Rioja, Arlanza and Navarra, with surprising wines, friendly and full of personality. A native of the Cognac region, Olivier Rivière acquired some and perhaps the first knowledge in oenology at Montage Saint-Émilion, in another of the renowned wine-growing regions of the French country, Bordeaux. In 2012, it acquired its first vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, divided into two small plots with a total of 1.5 ha. They are found in the Alava municipality of Naváridas at a height of almost 500 meters, with some nonagenarian vines. And of these vineyards planted in glass, where if there will be total control, the label of their wines will be white with black letters. Elaboration: It came only from the town of Labastida. Own vines in organic cultivation. Grape: Viura of more than 50 years, it is made in a 500 lt boot. Soil: gravel, boulders. Vineyard altitude: Between 500 and 600 m. above sea level. Vinification and aging: Fermentation and aging for 6 months in fudres, then aging for 1 year in chamomile and amontillado boots.
