TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean pale white color and brightness.

AROMA:

Tropical fruit, melon, herbs and spices on the nose.

TASTE:

The palate is reminiscent of quince and plum, with hints of chamomile and wet stone. It has a vibrant acidity that maintains harmony and fruit on the long finish, full of dry and salty minerality.

MATCHING
It pairs perfectly with white meats, cheese with intense aromas and fried foods.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The historic vineyard of Clos de Couleé de Serrant is a real star in the Loire Valley and the Savannieres. The first vines were planted in 1130 by Cistercian monks. Nicolas Joly is the owner of the 7 hectares together with his daughter Virginie. In 1984 it was decided that a more natural approach would be better for the Coulee de Serrant vineyard. Since then the entire vineyard is cultivated under the criteria of biodynamic agriculture. The Chenin grown in the vineyard are between 40 and 80 years old, and are located around the Loire River, where they face south and south-east, with spectacular slopes in some parts. Domaine de la Couleé de Serrant only produces 50,000 bottles per year, a fact that guarantees an extraordinary quality in each of its bottles.
