TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow with greenish glints.

AROMA:

Very intense, fruity aroma, with citrus (grapefruit) and exotic (lychee and passion fruit) essences, combined with floral notes of orange blossom, linalool and vine flower.

TASTE:

Smooth, fresh palate. Balanced with an elegant, persistent finish. The best combination of Parellada and Muscat for a Mediterranean wine.

MATCHING
Recommended for grilled fish and seafood, cocktails, avocado with shrimps, salmon, melon with ham, poultry, pâtés and foie-gras.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Since 1865 the Domènech family has passionately worked the lands of the Penedés to obtain the best fruit from the vineyards. Francisco José Domènech (1839-1909) was the promoter of the winemaking tradition in the family and the first to seek perfection in things well done.
In 1974 the Doènech Vidal family acquired new vineyards to meet the demands of the market. One of these farms is Masia Freyé, a place of retreat and source of inspiration for the Domènech Vidal family.
In 2012 the wines of the winery are renewed and presented under the "Domènech Vidal" brand.

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Penedès
Between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona is located the Penedès region, with the largest wine-growing surface and the largest production in Catalonia. Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Pre-litoral Mountains and from the Llobregat River to the Gaià River. The most important cities of this appellation of origin are the Vilafranca del Penedès (capital city) and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The more planted variety is Xarel·lo, with a surface of more than 7000 hectares.
