TASTING NOTE
Colour

Gold with lemon yellow hues.

AROMA:

High aromatic intensity, rich in nuances. Notes of frosted citrus, melon, tropical fruit jam, nuts and toast.

TASTE:

Good body and excelent acidity. Velvety on the palate with citrus and spices reminiscences. Final cool and pleasant. One important Chardonnays from the region.

MATCHING
Perfect with seafood such as oysters or clams. Ideal with fish baked, grilled shrimp and all kinds of dishes selected food.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
La Maison Leroy is one of the best known and biggest "négociants" of Burgundy . Since 1868 is engaged in the sale of wines and spirits. Henry Leroy good friend of the owners of the legendary De Villaine Domaine de la Romanée-Conti , bought in 1942 half of it to one of the branches of the owning family , to save the winery's financial problems. Henry had two daughters, Pauline and Marcelle, whom everyone calls Lalou. Each inherited half of his father's property, and became owners of 25 % of Romanée-Conti and Leroy half. Lalou Bize-Leroy joined the family business in 1955 and in 1988, he devoted himself to studying the best vineyards of Burgundy to buy land. After selling some of its assets could buy farms in Vosse Noellat Charles - Philippe Romanee and Gevrey - Chambertin Remy and created the successful Bodega Domaine Leroy.
