TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Yellow with greenish reflections. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

Welcome on the nose with a citrus explosion that does not leave you indifferent. The aromas of lemon, orange peel and grapefruit are manifested together with the more herbal and spicy touches. All provided with subtle lightning bolts and elegant hints of honey and vanilla provided by its aging in barrels.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth with a very well marked but perfectly balanced acidity, a fact that gives it the touch of sweetness so personal from the same Chardonnay variety. Marked notes of ripe fruit. Elegant, with extraordinary finesse and unique persistence. Good evolution in the bottle, and may be suitable for consumption in perfect condition until 2024.

MATCHING
Wine of good versatility, perfect with dishes of French gastronomy typical of the region. Butter stuffed snails with garlic and parsley, La Raclette, Le gratin dauphinois, perfect with sea urchins and seafood.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
They are specialists in white wines, which account for 85% of their catalog and which are produced in some 65 appellations throughout the Bourgogne. They have more than 20 hectares of property distributed among some of the most prestigious plots: Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières, Meursault 1er Cru Blagny Sous le Dos d'Âne, among others. The winery's technical team controls most of the plots from where it buys grapes for its négoce wines and is in charge of manual harvesting and transport to the winery. Both the fermentation and the aging of white wines are carried out in most cases in oak barrels, for about 16 months using 20% new wood, which can reach 30% in Grands Crus.
