Pale yellow colour with subtle green glints and bright and clear in appearance.
Intense, fresh and expressive and the rich nose reveals full varietal expression. Aromas of flowers, white fruits, such as apple and pear, and citrus fruits predominate with pleasant mineral notes.
On the palate it is fresh and appetising with good acidity and a long and flavoursome finish. Great complexity.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
