AROMA:

Very pleasant aroma. Notes of freshly cut green apple predominate on a tropical background. In a second layer, hints of apricot and peach appear. Very subtle citrus finish.

TASTE:

Fresh, with a marked and persistent acidity. Its passage through the mouth shows a pleasant tapestry of textures, with a refreshing and sparkling finish, the result of the residual carbon dioxide from fermentation.

Its fresh and happy character makes it a highly recommended wine for fish, pasta and rice. Especially recommended for all kinds of tempura and fried foods. Ideal for tapas and snacks. The service temperature is between 6 to 8º C.

Giró Ribot is a family winery but with an international projection. The motto, passed down from generation to generation, has always been quality and authenticity above all else. Its surroundings, as well as the wines and cavas, arouse all interest and satisfaction. The winery is located in the heart of the Penedès Denomination of Origin. This beautiful area of ​​Catalonia, located halfway between the cities of Barcelona and Tarragona, limits to the south with the Mediterranean and to the north with the spectacular and unusual Montserrat massif. Around 26,000 ha. of natural paradise. witness of a long and noble historical tradition and depositary of climatic and orographic conditions that have constituted an unbeatable environment for the cultivation and production of wines of the highest quality. In 1990 they joined with the expert group Remy Cointreau, makers of the highest quality products, and also one of the largest groups producing Champagne. Since 2000, the Giró Ribot family bought the shares of the Remy Cointreau Group, taking control of the winery. Elaboration: The carefully selected grapes come from low-yielding vineyards and from individual plots reserved for the production of the Karamba "Blanc de Blancs" white wine. After a gentle pressing of the whole bunch, fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks at a very low temperature, between 12-14º C, for approximately one month. The variety is 50% Xarel.lo, 30% Macabeo, 15% Parellada and 5% Chardonnay. It is a young vintage wine and the harvest is done manually.
