TASTING NOTE
Colour

Yellow-green. Clean and bright.

AROMA:

Elegant, smooth. Notes of white fruit like pear and citrus like lemon. Floral background.

TASTE:

Structured, with good acidity. Satiny mouth with fruity notes. Balanced and pleasant finish.

MATCHING
Suitable with all kinds of white fish. Good for rice and noodles. Perfect with Galician seafood.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Vineyards Winery Mengoba spread Espanillo, Valtuille, Villafranca of Bierzo and Carracedo. Land of the slate and limestone, the old vines are grown by old conduction system. For the white wine there are two grapes, Doña Blanca and Godello. Doña Blanca born in the vineyards of Espanillo and Carracedo, while Godello obtained from small plots located in Carracedo, Villefranche Valtuille. The vines are between 25 and 80 years old.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
