TASTING NOTE
Colour

Bright pale yellow with greenish hues.

AROMA:

Broad aromas of fresh herbs, intensely varietal, pear and apple.

TASTE:

It’s a full wine, elegant and long.

MATCHING
Raw, boiled or with sauce fish and seafood; fish and seafood mousse, smokeds, soups, creams and fresh cheese.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Located in the town of Rueda, the Velasco family (from a long winemaking tradition) is dedicated to the cultivation of these vineyards from several generations, their was one of the driving forces behind the development of the region.
The 32 hectares of vineyards are divided into parcels sorted to extract the true personality and express the terroir in their wines.

Recently integrated into the Sogrape group. The winery was founded in 2000. Currently it is part of the same group Santiago Ruiz (Rías Baixas) and Bodegas Lan (La Rioja).

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Rueda
The winegrowing zone of Rueda is located on the regions of Valladolid, Ávila and Segovia. This appellation was established on January 12 1980 and was the first authorized appellation in the Castilla y León zone. The planted vineyard area covers approximately 19,000 hectares of vines and in 2021, 124.533.302 kg of grapes were harvested, 90% of which were white grapes. Currently, this region is fashionable for its white wines made from its native white grape variety, Verdejo.
