WHO CAN CONTRACT
Alella Vinícola is a family winery created in 1906 in the heart of the D.O. Alella, just 15 kilometers from Barcelona. They make about 90,000 bottles of a dozen wines a year and carry out different activities related to the world of wine and gastronomy. They have their own restaurant in the same modernist winery designed by Jeroni Martorell, a disciple of Antoni Gaudí. Marfil is the emblematic brand of the winery since the twenties, it has been the white wine of Barcelona throughout the 20th century and exported all over the world. Promoting the creation of the Alella Denomination of Origin during the 1950s. Currently they produce, make and bottle wines and cavas in two Denominations of Origin: D.O. Alella and D.O. Digging. Most of the vineyards and the winery are located in the center of the town of Alella, in the heart of the Denomination of Origin. The grapes come from their own vineyards where they work in an ecological way (no herbicides, no insecticides, no inorganic fertilizers). The winery works with minimal intervention and with minimum and responsible doses of sulfur that ensure the correct evolution of the wine and the food safety of consumers.
