TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow with greenish reflections. bright, youthful color.

AROMA:

Clean, frank, direct, varietal aromas of the Albariño grape, green fruits very well balanced with the notes of tropical fruits ( green pineapple, fuji apple ), the famous "pineberry" white strawberries, grown in South America and Great Britain they are very widespread in the Gurmet market. Good aromatic power.

TASTE:

Excellent liveliness, broad, velvety in its route, long retronasal route, we highlight this mineral and saline point, but we would classify it as very fine, dry and slightly fruity, with hints of herbaceous, river stone, fresh.

MATCHING
With some steamed molluscs, mussels, clams, cockles, fine lane clam in green sauce, grilled razor clams, with lobster, light dry rice or scampi. In general, fresh and local cuisine and natural product. Always with transformations and contrast of soft flavors.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The Pazo de Barrantes is located in the Salnés Valley, where the best wines of the Rías Baixas are made, as it combines the ideal conditions for growing the expressive Albariño grape. The imposing Pazo has been in the hands of the Count of Creixell's family since 1511, rising among its vineyard with the personality that takes the step of history. The Pazo de Barrantes winery is the perfect sister of Marqués de Murrieta, the winery that the family owns in Rioja, and they complement each other in the quality offer of their wines. The unbeatable terroir of the area, together with the daily effort and knowledge in winemaking, has led to its two wines from the Rías Baixas being among the best albariños in the world. Winemaking: The bunches, once de-stemmed, are pressed gently and slowly in a pneumatic press. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 10º C for 30 days in stainless steel. It remains in contact with its fine lees for two months to achieve texture and density.

Encara que soc un enamorat dels blancs del Penedés, aquest gallec es molt bo. Amb llagostíns de la Rápita (Montsiá) un plaer.
