TASTING NOTE
Colour

Intense straw yellow with gold iridescence. Clean and very shiny. It shows a certain unctuousness in the glass, with dense and fluid tearing that allows discovering its glyceric character.

AROMA:

Medium intensity nose with complex aromas where a significant fruit load is perceived along with a lightly toasted background. Subtle, where fresh fruit with notes of moist vegetable predominate, wrapping nuances of very clean wood.

TASTE:

Impress its elegance on the palate. Ample in the entry, very well sustained by toasted notes and fruit in evolution, integrated acidity that does not stand out to be quite tasty and broad in nuances.

MATCHING
Fish, seafood, seafood from the Galician Rias. Dishes as traditional as octopus, the Galician empanada is excellent with this wine. The entire range of rice is feasible and 100% compatible ( seafood rice with lobster, rice with scampi and scallops, etc .)

Service temperature from 12 to 14º C
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Martín Códax, was one of the most important Galician troubadours of the Middle Ages.
The Martín Códax albariño is made entirely with the Albariño grape, following a rigorous and careful process to guarantee its varietal purity and the traditional essence of the wines originating from the Salnés Valley.
Made with a selection of grapes that come from the parcels facing southeast, the Organistrum albariño is called as this peculiar instrument that requires two people to be played. Currently there are only two copies and one of them is used by the Antiga Martín Códax Music Group in their performances. Thanks to Maestro Mateo, who sculpted it in the Pórtico de la Gloria before it disappeared, Bodegas Martín Códax was able to recover it.

Elaboration:
Fermentation in French Allier oak barrels. The aging is from 3 to 4 months in 300, 400 and 500 l barrels.
Variety: 100% Albariño.
