TASTING NOTE

Colour

Clean, limpid and bright. Pale yellow, lemon-yellow with greyish reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

On the nose, entry of intense aromas of melon, tropical fruit and citrus fruits such as grapefruit. Acidity and salinity marked on the palate and hints of lime and juniper.

TASTE:

Very pleasant entry in the mouth, dry, balanced and with an electric point that makes it very pleasant and very vivid.

MATCHING

To accompany ... The blend of white lemongrass and sauvignon blanc is fruity and aromatic, so we need the flavors of the food to be intense as well. The Mareny is great with delicate and spicy dishes: chives, Asian food, salads, goat cheese, gazpacho and salmorejo, grilled cuttlefish, smoked salmon ...

The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
