Nose in which the balsamic and spicy notes are expressed, where the aromas of pine resin and white pepper are the most pronounced. In a few minutes, the toffee notes of smoked and toasted wood will take over, and all with a shy white fruit in the background.
In the mouth, it is surprisingly fresh and light, with a good load of wood, which gives it a good evolution beforehand.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
