Aromatic, with nuances of green fruits, citrus, with a quite good intensity. It shows touches of camomile, white flowers. It has a fresh aroma, full of youth.
Tasty, with touches of carbonic well integrated on the whole, which gives the wine more liveliness and freshness. On the retronasal phase we notice flavours of green apples, pears and grapefruit.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
