Krug Rosse Brut
INFORMATION OF INTEREST Krug Rosse Brut
Colour: Krug Rosés pale pink-gold colour, with luminosity and brightly touches.
Aroma: Exquisitely fragrant bouquet is the prelude to an abundance of fresh and exotic flavours, as wild berries, ginger, pepper, quince jelly or peony.
Taste: Krug Rosé is pure provocation: a sensual, extravagant champagne that seamlessly fuses the intensity and elegance of the Krug style with an excitement all its own. Its a champagne so thrillingly fresh, so seductively silky-smooth, spilling over with notes of wild berries, exotic spices and concentrated flowers, that it represents a complete break with traditional flavours of conventional champagnes.
We recommend it with grilled fish, monkfish, supreme of hake with scallops, in general light dishes based on fish; will also be delicious with a fresh cheese mousse with salmon and basil. As for desserts, we will accompany those who are not overly sweet, with touches of citrus, as would be a natural pineapple carpaccio with walnut cream or an infusion of red fruits with quince mouse.
Since 1843, with unique single-mindedness and sense of purpose, the Krug family has proudly cultivated the markedly individual character of their exceptional champagne. Theirs is a living legend, a certain idea of excellence that has been quietly redefined through six generations without a break.
Krugs founder, Johann-Joseph Krug, was a maverick who turned his back on a comfortable position in an established champagne house to strike out on his own. He had not only the vision, but also the talent, to achieve his ambition of creating a champagne with a taste quite unlike any other.
Krug today is the result of continuity of vision, of spirit, of passion that is an absolute rarity in any time or place. To discover Krug is to share in that spirit, to sense that passion, to experience something truly exceptional. Intense, inspiring, individual, Krug is a revelation every time.
