TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow with golden reflections. Well integrated and rich.

AROMA:

Intense, lively and frank. Notes of white fruit over a dried fruits background.

TASTE:

Structured, fresh. Good through palate, reminds of apple, pear and hazelnut.

MATCHING
Suitable with all kind of starters and desserts. Perfect with rice and noodles. Fantastic complement for a broth rice from Empordà.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
As the stone in the entrance of the oldest cellars Oliveda denotes, in 1764 they already elaborate wines exclusively for own consumption. From 1948, Josep Oliveda i Casanova and his wife Joana Rigau y Ros founded the company dedicated to the elaboration and commercialization of wines and cavas. Nowadays Oliveda has a wine production spread in two different D.O.: "Empordà" and "Cataluña"; and a production of cava that belongs to D.O. "Cava".

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Cava
Cava and Champagne are elaborated with the same procedure, called traditional method or champenoise. The process definition gives the name to the final product, a sparkling wine produced with the classic method of fermentation in bottle and ageing in “cavas”. Recently is one of the more dynamic sectors in the world of wine, with a whole production that has exceed the 220 millions of bottles per year, reaching customers from all over the world.
