WHO CAN CONTRACT
Currently, the plantation of Bodegas and vineyards Valderiz is composed of 60 hectares planted by Tomás Esteban and 10 hectares of vineyard that knew how to keep planted by his father, composed of more than 35 plots located in different soils, formed in traditional glass and grafted from old vineyards of the family.

The family is one of the percusors of organic farming in the Ribera del Duero, the total absence of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers is their hallmark, which is leading to think further and start doing biodynamic viticulture.

The climatology is characterized by a moderate-low rainfall (450 mm of rain per year) that, together with its dry summers (40 ºc) and long and rigorous winters (-10 ºc), and with marked thermal oscillations along the stations, they frame it within a Mediterranean climate, with more than 2,400 hours of sun, whose primordial character is continentality.

The vineyard that Tomás Esteban retained from his father is the origin with which this wine is made, with productions of 1,500 kg hectare. Biodynamic agriculture.

The elaboration is carried out in 6,000 and 3,000 vats, the cold macerations are the same as the Valderiz, no type of enzymes or yeasts are used in the elaboration that are not the autochthonous ones of the own grape.
