Wine well covered with a cherry red colour and a nice violet border.
Intense, fresh bouquet of wild berries, specially mulberry and raspberry.
On the palate it is full bodied and velvety. This wine has balanced acidity and a pleasant tannicity resulting on a well-rounded wine.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
