Intense garnet with violet reflections.

AROMA:

Very intense aromas reminiscent of cocoa with a background of plum and blueberry jam.

TASTE:

In the mouth it is intense and warm, with a good structure and a long, round finish with a point of minerality, reminiscent of cocoa and licorice. Round, elegant, sweet and long-lasting aftertaste.

Perfect with vegan cooking. The great personality of this wine is ideal to accompany national and international cuisine dishes such as cured cheeses, stewed meats and poultry, sausages, grills, pasta and rice.

Service temperature from 12 to 14º C.

COVIDES Viñedos - Bodegas is the 1st grade wine cooperative in Catalonia in terms of volume and the average annual harvest is about 24,000,000 kg of grapes.

To achieve this average harvest, Covides has some 650 active members who cultivate around 1,900 hectares spread over more than 50 municipalities, including Alt, Baix Penedés and Garraf.

Of the 25 million kilos on average, 85% correspond to white varieties (Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada and Chardonnay) with which they make the wines that they commercialize under the DO Penedés and Cava.

Covides has 3 wineries (S. Sadurní, S. Cugat Sesgarrigues and Vilafranca del Penedés) to enter the 25 million kilos of its members and produce the corresponding white, rosé and red wines.

ELABORATION:
Red wine of singular coupage where Cabernet Sauvignon brings elegance, Merlot warmth and Syrah minerality. Coming from the best vineyards of organic farming, it is the result of commitment to the territory, sustainability and respect for nature and the environment. It is a vegan and ecological wine.
