INFORMATION OF INTEREST Roda Reserva 2016
Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Red color with cherry reflections. Medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.
Aroma: First contact in the glass where the red and black fruit is the main protagonist, thus offering us the notes of cherry, raspberry, currant, blackberries and blueberries. Immediately afterwards and after some aeration, the aromas of the aging are strongly expressed, so that the spicy touches of cloves, pepper and small hints of cinnamon appear.
Taste: Mouth of a memorable balance and elegance. Its passage through the mouth is voluminous and full, but of a unique freshness. From fine and lively tannins where they will lead you to a long and persistent finish.
Wine of fantastic versatility. Its complexity and elegance make it the perfect table companion for all kinds of cuisine, where we can accompany it with stews, lean meats, carpaccios, cheeses, Italian dishes, etc.
Roda's facilities were tailored to its wines. To do this, they have about 17 French oak vats (as many as selected vineyards per season), a bioclimatic room as a result of the winery's commitment to innovation (something unheard of at the time) and 2 aging vessels dug directly into the rock. The result is 4 wines: Bodegas Roda Sela, the youngest in the range, 2 reserves, Roda: silky, festive and fresh; and Roda I, which behaves like a deeper, more complex and voluminous wine, and finally, Cirsión.
Assembly made with wines from several different vineyards chosen during the year. Wine marked by elegance and balance. It promises to give good results both from the time of purchase and a few years later thanks to its storage capacity.
