INFORMATION OF INTEREST Gran Cruor 2011
Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, has a medium-high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.
Aroma: On the nose it can be seen with great intensity and complexity. Black fruit (blackberry, blueberries and currants) harmonize with the tertiaries of aging, where vanilla, coffee and spicy touches emerge.
Taste: On the palate with volume and creaminess, but at the same time it is fresh and slightly savory, Tannins of wide structure, a deep and full-bodied wine is perceived. Long, wide and persistent finish.
It is a reference wine from our winery. Syrah is a Mediterranean variety that loves the soil and climate of the Priorat, offering us exceptional wines.
A pure slate soil, where the roots sink and extract all the essence of the earth. A careful selection of the best grapes arrives at the winery, where a very long maceration extracts all the contents of the pulp and skin, transferring the essence of the land and the vintage of the wine.
Aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels rounds, tames and gives elegance, structure and power to the wine.
