Aromas of ripe fruit, intense spicy (peppers mixed grains) that are allied with some toasted marked that need to be polished (they become more present as the wine is in the glass), notable senseaciones grilled pepper, fine balsamic notes (eucalyptus), light touches of soil, some soft background Montebajo and liquor.
The palate has a remarkable entry, good structure, very spicy (dominance of red pepper), roasted very rough, intense tannins, good acidity, very tasty thanks to its good ripe fruit, intense, sweet, large and persistent but drinking very well .
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
